Hello. I am Valan Kornhaus, a 39-year-old married mother of four, currently studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Colorado Christian University. My time in the Army has given me a unique perspective and strong sense of discipline. I’m honored to have received the Frontline Futures Scholarship from Lokiten Behavioral Health which supports my passion for mental health and well-being. Outside of my studies, I love trail and ultra marathon running, which reflects my resilience and determination. I’m excited to learn and grow in the field of mental health, and I look forward to meeting you.
