Nicole Fisk

Masters Level Intern

I would be honored to walk alongside you as you move toward healing and wholeness. My personal journey has shaped my path into mental health work; after spending ten years at home raising my three kids, I felt a strong pull toward supporting others in their healing. I’m finishing my final year in the Master of Social Work program at UCCS, and I am excited to be a part of this team! I have experience in school-based mental health, where I’ve worked to support students’ emotional needs and facilitated social-emotional learning.

While I’ve loved working with kids, I’m excited to grow my clinical skills and work more deeply with clients in a therapeutic setting. I approach my work from a trauma-informed and holistic perspective, honoring the whole person and their unique story. Attachment theory has played a big role in my own growth, and I find it especially helpful when supporting clients. I also lean toward narrative therapy and internal family systems (IFS) as ways to help people explore and reconnect with their inner world.
