Shannon Stone

My name is Shannon Stone, and I am a dual board-certified nurse practitioner in Psychiatric Mental Health and Adult Gerontology Acute Care. My educational background includes graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Regis University; a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Adult Gerontology Acute Care from University of Texas at El Paso; and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health from Maryville University.  

I endorse a patient-centered, holistic model of care that promotes healing of the whole person. My focus spans across many disorders; however, I have a special interest in PTSD, trauma and suicidal ideation. My philosophy of practice is that everyone desires to be seen, heard and valued – it is the epitome of the human connection. 

I approach our interactions by partnering with you, meeting you where you are in your life’s journey, and empowering you to live your best life. My goals of treatment are to build a rapport with you and get a strong sense of who you are, understand your primary treatment objectives, and develop an individually tailored plan of care that we both agree upon.   I currently see patients across the lifespan, from ages 13 and up. I am accepting new patients and would love the opportunity to see how I can be of help to you
